The LED light on the top of an Eversensor can communicate status conditions pertaining to the sensor's operational state.  The following table illustrates the meaning and potential causes of the LED light flash behavior.  All of these flash conditions take place in under one second.

Flash Behavior Meaning Potential Causes
One flash after connecting harvester Eversensor blinks the LED once on first boot or when waking from sleep. Typical Behavior
One flash every 60 seconds Eversensor is reporting a reading to its paired gateway, all systems normal. Typical Behavior
Twice with a spacing of 250ms between the blinks Eversensor is operating in energy-aware mode, not sending data or not associating to conserve energy. Harvesting source is not providing suffieicient energy.
Three times with a spacing of 250ms between the blinks Eversensor is transmitting a reading based on expiry of the sensing timer (without receiving a wakeup and broadcast request). Eversensor did not recieve wakeup signal from the gateway due to range or obstruction. Sensor is transmitting in the hopes that the gateway will recieve the message.
Four times with a spacing of 250ms between the blinks Eversensor has started an association attempt. Eversensor has not yet paired with a gateway, or lost connection with its paired gateway over 30 minutes ago. Sensor is in pairing mode.
