Effective Date: March 1st, 2024

At Everactive, we are committed to managing your personal and business data responsibly, transparently, and in line with applicable data protection regulations. This Data Retention Policy outlines how we handle the data we collect, how long we retain it, and how you can request access to your data.

1. Data Collection and Use

We collect data to provide and improve our services. This includes data you provide to us directly, data we collect through your use of our services, and data from third-party sources. We use this data to operate our services and enhance your user experience.

2. Data Retention Period

Your data is important to us, and we strive to provide you with control over it. We retain active customer data for a period of 18 months from the time it is gathered ("Active Period"). During this period, your data is readily available online through our web application and can be accessed at any time using our API.

3. Transition to Deep Storage

Following the Active Period, your data is moved to deep storage, where it is securely archived. While in deep storage, your data is not directly accessible through our web application or API.

4. Data Retrieval from Deep Storage

Should you need to access your data after it has been moved to deep storage, we offer a retrieval service for a fee. To request data retrieval, please contact our Customer Success team at success@everactive.com. Our team will guide you through the retrieval process, including any applicable fees and time frames.

5. Data Security and Privacy

We are dedicated to protecting your data at every stage of its lifecycle. Both during the Active Period and while in deep storage, your data is safeguarded with industry-standard security measures. Our practices are designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction of your data.

6. Voluntary Destruction of Data

At the end of a contract period if a customer decides not to renew the service, the data will stay accessible for a short period of time, no longer than 90 days.  If monitoring is reactivated during this grace period, access to the data will be restored.  After 90 days the data can be deleted by Everactive at any time.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Data Retention Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will notify you of any significant changes and post the updated policy on our website.

8. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Data Retention Policy or our data practices, please contact us at success@everactive.com.

Thank you for trusting Everactive with your data.
